K D German Pinschers certifies that this puppy is a purebred German Pinscher of sound body, good health, and free of communicable diseases as far as appears to the eye. The puppy has been checked by a licensed veterinarian and was found to be healthy and has received one set of puppy shots. All care has been taken by the seller to ensure the health of the puppy. Minor or common problems are not covered under this guarantee and are the buyer’s responsibility.

K D German Pinschers will cover a One Year Health Guarantee on any genetic life threatening problems. The Guarantee start date is the birth date of the puppy. If a problem is detected, the buyer should notify seller immediately. The issue MUST be proven before either a replacement puppy or 50% refund will be given. Replacement puppy will be of equal or greater value from seller’s next available litter.

Validation of the guarantee requires:
1. Buyer is required to present examination documentation of the health issue FROM buyers licensed veterinarian; using licensed veterinarian's letter head, including name, address and phone number. Sellers licensed veterinarian will contact buyers licensed veterinarian to discuss findings.

2. The puppy is then returned with puppy's UKC papers and the original licensed veterinarian report. Report will be confirmed by K D German Pinschers licensed veterinarian.

3. Buyer assumes sole responsibility for all costs and care during this time including: return air fare, crate and veterinarian charges.

K D German Pinschers will ONLY cover any genetic life threatening problems. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, ie: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, epilepsy; and early tooth loss, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are NOT covered by this guarantee. Seller can not guarantee the known health problems of orthopedic problems, such as Legg-Calve-Perthes disease (LCP) a degenerative hip disease, Slipping Stifles (knees) and Patellar Luxation (dislocated kneecap). Seller will inform purchaser of ANY above problems found in Sire or Dam (parents).

KD German Pinschers guarantees a healthy companion pet, but does not guarantee adult size, color, temperament, ear structure, stance or fitness for breeding or showing.

KD German Pinschers has done everything possible to produce healthy sound puppies
by raising the puppies in the best possible way regarding genetics, diet, exercise, socialization and vet care.

KD German Pinschers is no longer in control of the puppy once it leaves our premises. Remember they are not only puppies they are babies!!! The buyer is solely responsible for the care and well being of this puppy when it leaves our premises.

KD German Pinschers will not cover any puppy for Parvovirus “parvo” under any circumstance. All puppies leave our home free of parvo.

K D German Pinschers are not required to comply with the refund for any injuries or illnesses that take place after the buyer take possession of the puppy. Puppies are very susceptible at this age and should be treated accordingly. Do not expose your puppy to "outside/stray" animals until its immunity is fully up and running (at about 16 weeks).

KD German Pinschers must be provided with a written report of the puppy’s health problem from buyers licensed veterinarian. The buyer assumes full responsibility for all costs and care during this time.

KD German Pinschers puppies are sold as Companion/ Pet only with limited UKC papers to protect our puppy's future. A limited registration means you can not register any puppies from this puppy/dog. A certification from buyers licensed veterinarian must be issued and mailed to seller for verification of spayed or neutered. UKC papers will be sent once the breeder is notified the puppy is spayed or neutered (age 5-6 months).
(Under new buyers UKC Application for Permanent Registration papers dogs name in front will have KD’s – ie. KD’s (your puppys name). This does not mean breeder will have co–ownership to puppy. This is so seller can keep track of all puppies sold with UKC).

The breeder is NOT responsible for any veterinarian bills the purchaser may incur regarding said puppy.

The contract is null and void if:
1. The puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours for an exam.
2. The dog is bred, sold or put to sleep without prior consent of the breeder or if we are not contacted within 24 hours if a problem occurs.
3. To keep the above dog/puppy up to date on all immunizations and health care.
4. The puppy is not permanently registered in the new owners’ name.
5. The puppy of his/her offspring's are sold to pet stores, pet brokers, puppy mills, auctions or any other undesirable prospects.

Deposit
A non-refundable, $500.00 deposit is required to hold the puppy. If, for some reason, you cannot get the puppy or change your mind, you will lose the total deposit you put down. A puppy is not considered sold until the deposit is received.
If the puppy is being shipped, the balance has to be paid in full when the puppy reaches 6 weeks of age. The new owners pay for all shipping as well as a shipping carrier and a health certificate. Puppies do not leave here before 8 weeks of age.

This contract is null and void if the terms of conditions are not fulfilled.

KD German Pinschers highly recommends that your keep your puppy on
NuVet Plus and Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice which we feed all our puppies.

I have read the above contract thoroughly and understand and agree with the terms set forth in this document. I also understand that this is a binding agreement and will abide by the terms we have agreed above. I acknowledge my acceptance of this contract by sending a deposit and with my signature below.
